Looks great, fits great
Installed as directed, all went well.They really stand out, look very good. Although not stated in install directions, they are marked LH and RH. If you put them on the wrong side they will have 1/4″ gap aroung the edges.

I shoulda’ listened…
My brother advised me not to get these… did I listen…NOOOOO. I just got them this afternoon and checked the fit. They do not fit. All the way around 1/8″ to 1/4″ of the handle is exposed. They are not uniform either. I just completed the process for returning this product and I do not recommend them… the one star rating is only because that is the minimum, no stars would be appropriate!

Very high quality stuff here! Al Jarreau at his best.
In my opinion, the most underrated production ever done by Al Jarreau! “After all” is probably the only track to have made it alone as a single of notable success but there are plenty others here that can hold their own. From the fast and infectious “Raging Waters” to the dancy/funky “Imagination”, “High Crime” and irresistible “Sticky Wicket” this is Al Jarreau at his funkiest while at the same time commanding attention to good lyrics. Catchy mid tempo tracks “Tell Me” and “Let’s Pretend” are as groovy as are soulful and equally as beautiful is the reggae-tinged “Murphy’s Law” featuring a memorable Flugelhorn solo by Jerry Hey. To complement “After All” in the slower section are the expressive “Love speaks louder than words” and the smokey “Fallin’”. Backed by some of the top musicians/arrangers of the early 80′s era such as Greg Phillinganes, Nathan East, Paul Jackson, Robbie Buchanan and Jay Graydon I shall forever treasure this because in my mind its the most comprehensive collection by Al and maybe because it has been so terribly underrated. No true Al Jarreau fan would have this missing from their set

Diverse yet catchy; one of Al Jarreau’s best offerings by far
Though this album did not contain two of his most well-known radio hits, the classics “Mornin’” and “We’re In This Love Together,” this album is a thoroughly enjoyable collection of songs that those two songs might have sounded more at home on. Even without them, this album contains a number of notable songs of different styles. It has the bouncy, nicely stylized “Imagination,” the gritty, bopping funk number “Sticky Wicket,” and the beautiful adult contemporary hit “After All” which is very stylistically similar to Mornin’ and We’re In This Love Together. A must for any fan of adult contemporary pop-soul.

One Of Al’s Best
This album displays some of Al Jarreau’s best songs from the 1980s. After All, which is still played on the air, is one of those songs that you cannot get out of your head once you hear it. All of the tunes on this album are full of surprise and will get you moving.

I bought this NMAP Cookbook along with NMAP Network Scanning, the NMAP Official Book by the developer himself.

This is literally my first book review – never felt strong enough about any other book to warrant such comments before.

For those who want to learn sanitized, no-fluff, specifics on using NMAP – this nearly 200 page “NMAP Cookbook” is a must have, highly recommended resource for any IT/IS Systems Engineer, Administrator or especially Security Professional entering the field.

Having read the book in 2 days, you too should be using NMAP like a Pro within weeks.

Straight forward and right on target with generally Single Page contents highlighting NMAPs command sets, switches, features, options and then providing just the right amount of information without overkill.

Those who prefer lean, direct, point driven directions will probably appreciate this book, just like I do.

On each page, the Author supplies simple content such as;

- Command/Feature/Option,
- Summary of its purpose (generally a single sentence),
- Sample usage/syntax (exact commands, how a user should use it),
- Real world sample of both, the command itself and its anticipated results,
- More detailed of a description,
- At the bottom, to top it off, you’ll likely encounter some “Tips” or “Notes” offering just the right amount of complementary insight.

Personally, this is the best instructional book on a Security Tool I have ever seen – and this from an evaluator with 20yrs of IT/IS experience too.

I completely and fully recommend this resource to everyone interested in learning NMAP, especially those wanting quick, efficient teachings.

If you’re not already a fan, this movie won’t convert you.
Blue Gender / B000UR9T9Q

It’s a common phenomena among anime series to turn out a movie that serves as a condensed version of the series, and whether or not the resulting movie will be of interest to a broad audience or only to the long-time fans of the anime series varies widely. “Blue Gender Movie” will, in my opinion, unfortunately only appeal to fans – if you’re new to the Blue Gender franchise, don’t start with this movie.

The comparison by one reviewer to Starship Troopers is apt – this is science fiction in which the human race is threatened by strange, seemingly-intelligent giant bugs that messily kill and devour humans indiscriminately. Unfortunately, while the best parts of “Starship Troopers” were truly wonderful for their satirical sting, “Blue Gender Movie” plays much of the same material straight and the movie is not, in my opinion, better for it. The excessive gore in “Starship Troopers” was meaningful not because of the ‘funny’ or ‘gross’ factor, but because of the pointed barb that war is horrible, and not a form of entertainment – as well as a dig at the sort of audience that *requires* buckets of gore before they will deign to watch a movie. “Blue Gender Movie”, however, pours on buckets of blood and seems to think that doing so will make for good drama – do we really need to see a man’s helmet removed, only to find that everything underneath is a melted mass of blood, with two eyes (complete with dangling optical nerves) literally pouring out onto the ground?

Because there is so much plot to condense to movie length, character development is almost non-existent, and the two ‘main’ characters come across as intensely shallow and one-dimensional, such as when the ‘Sleeper’ insists that he will stay behind with the abandoned earthlings, protesting that he is a “free man”, but when the military rolls out the next day, he’s there safely in the cab with him. He keeps protesting how “wrong” it is to abandon the earthlings to their deaths, but no one seems to be restraining him from leaving to join them – it seems like he’s just a little too comfortable in his armored tank to follow through on his moral qualms. No doubt the actual series handled these issues better, but this movie is so rushed and hurried that it gets lost in the shuffle.

Bottom line, if you’re not already a “Blue Gender” fan, I don’t recommend viewing this movie at all. If you *are* a “Blue Gender” fan from the series, you will probably be able to judge whether or now you want to see this movie, but I feel that removing characterization to make room for blood’n'guts is never a good move.

Anime Movie
The above poster seemed to have a few things correct like it is sort of like a condensed version of the anime. I say sort of because many parts of the movie changed and is different from the original anime. For instance, many characters from the original anime were completely absent in this movie, and the ending in the movie is completely different from its original series. The above poster did not seem like he had seen the whole anime series before he watched the movie. I give this product 3 stars because well i did not think that this movie was as good as the original anime.

From Overlong to Too Short
Like a gritty Starship Troopers meets Neon Genesis Evangelion. Earth has been overrun by a race of gigantic, carnivorous insect-like aliens called the Blue. Humanity has either fled to an orbital military complex dedicated to fighting them, or barely subsist in broken shantytowns hidden amongst the ruins. Sleepers in cryogenic storage become a hot commodity for the military brass, hoping to supliment their combat troops with new young soldiers in fighting shape. The story focuses on one such candidate, the traumatized Yuji and his relationship with the attractive but souless commander of the mission to rescue him.

Having tried to first watch the first disc’s worth of episodes from the TV series it seemed too dragged out, the pacing was slow and the characters grating. It really seemed to need some editing.

The movie version is a recut of the whole series, turning it into a monster length movie. It’s still intimidatingly long to watch in any one sitting. The part of the series I had already watched was greatly improved in the movie version, the scenes played much more briskly and it seems the characters recieve a better dubbing this time around.

Once I got past the parts I had already seen, however, the story seemed to really churn through the story much too fast. There were really interesting bits of future politics, character development and huge action scenes that get reduced to just a few flashes and quick overviews. It definitely gives me an idea which episodes in the series I’ll be interested in getting to fill in the gaps, but as a movie it’s just too rushed.

So if you want a crash course in Blue Gender without watching the whole show, with the intent of going back to certain episodes to fill in the gaps, this movie is totally the way to go. If you’re looking for a good stand-alone movie then it’ll probably be too much too fast for you.
