I Dug It!
First, I must point out that the title of this is misleading. Let’s blame the title-maker. However, the description on the workout DVD cover is honest in that it mentions the workout is bellydance-inspired and features some Bollywood & aerobic dance moves. This is accurate. Unfortunately those who gave it bad online reviews seemed really focused on the title & felt it would be a true bellydance workout. Then, again there’s very little bellydancing in the clip. Thus, many were disappointed when it wasn’t solid bellydancing. So, I’m reviewing this based on the descriptions (more important than a title) and my own experience. First, my background to give you some perspective. I am at the advanced level in my fitness, am quite fit, can handle heavy weights, do high impact work regularly & swing a 20 lb kettle bell. I bought this specifically for those days when I need a less intense, low impact workout or a rest day. This was perfect. The music is great, Kili’s instruction is flawless (to me), the creativity was up there and the combos seemed to get harder in intensity. In fact, while working out in my chilly living room, my sports bra & undies were soaked. I was stunned. My wish is that folks really pay attn to the descriptions & the clip instead of the title. If you’re looking for an Eastern-inspired workout, this one is good. I actually like this one better than the other pure bellydance fitness and Bollywood DVDs I’ve had and given away. The only thing I would’ve loved to have seen is if Kili had woven all 3 combos together at the end & ran through them a couple of times. That would’ve been an exercise for the mind! This workout served its purpose with me.

This is a perfectly timed workout (45 minutes all up) and it really gets your heart rate up. It’s different to any other workout I own because it’s a mix of belly dancing and Bollywood style dance. There is your basic ponies and grapvines, to sunbursts and shimmies. It’s the first workout I’ve seen by this instructor, Kili Marti, but I found her to be friendly, and gave good instruction. The music is also what gives it perfect ‘atmosphere’ because it’s Middle-Eastern so you feel very intune to the moves.
This isn’t the kind of workout you’d want to solely rely on for big weight-loss, but it’s fun and does get your heart rate up, so it’s going to help you get fit and you’ll definately have fun doing it.
Truely aweful
I was able to get a copy of this early & I have to say it is by far one of the worst workouts I’ve got in my collection. The title of this is very misleading. There is nothing to very little belly dance about it. Yes, the back cover says it is a fusion of bollywood style dancing & bellydance, but in truth it is all bollywood with maybe a few undulations thrown in. It’s a very boring routine to boot. I wouldn’t even rate it at a beginner level for intensity. It’s not very challenging & is not likely to get your heartrate up. The back cover specifically says this is a fun workout. I kept wondering when the fun would begin. Ugh. I gave this 2 stars, 1 star for each good thing to mention. The music is good. Very original compared to many other fitness DVDs on the market. The instructor is really good. I like her personality & she cues very well. It’s unfortunate that she appeared in such a bad workout. If you like bollywood dancing & don’t want to do much of a workout this is for you. If you want to actually make use of your workout time, and you want a bellydance workout that is ACTUALLY a bellydance workout or a true fusion of bellydance & bollywood, this is one to avoid.

Are you ready to worship?

Dennis Jernigan’s music attracts young and old because of his heart of worship. . . and this is none the less true with this album! I personally love this album. It provides variety in style; some songs will are more upbeat while others are more tranquil. For those who don’t care for CCM because of the beat, let me say that I used to not like beats in my music. However, even though many of the songs on this album have a distinct beat, I have come to love them because it is evident that these songs aren’t just sung for show, but to draw others into worshipping the Lord through song. Music for a Christian Hedonist!
In my opinion, Dennis Jernigan is for Christian music what John Piper is for Christian literature. Piper has introduced us to the life-changing concept of Christian Hedonism in his book Desiring God: The Meditations of a Christian Hedonist. Someone having read that book might ask: “how do Christian Hedonists worship God?” Dennis Jernigan is the answer.
This 2 volume CD set was originally two separate albums. The second one “Break My Heart, O God” is the best. I would venture to say that it is one of the best pieces of worship/praise music ever written. It is heartfelt prayer and praise almost the whole way through. It is at times upbeat, but more often reverent, and always passionate. Rarely does a piece of contemporary Christian music has touch me as deeply as this one has. If you want to worship God, this album will be a wonderful tool for you.

They’re okay…
I bought these from the TV ad, and I have to say I wished I had gotten the Hairzing instead. The first time I used the EZ-comb, it broke. Some beads snapped off. These also dont come in different sizes. I was trying to save money by buying the EZ combs instead of the Hairzing, and this is the only thing I have to say… when it comes to hair, dont try to be cheap.. get the real thing.
A little complicated for a teen
I got these for my granddaughter and she has given up on them. she said they were to hard for her to work with. My daughter has used them a few times and they look nice. She also says the are hard to work with.
Nice, but not durable
I have a difficult time finding anything that will hold up my long, straight hair without falling out. These EZ Combs are terrific. They come with easy to follow instructions and work as advertised. I find them comfortable and attractive, easy to use. I no longer have my hair falling in my face or struggle with clips.
I realize this sounds like an ad; but these things stay in place, and so does my hair. I’m loving it and looking forward to buying more.
UPDATE: I hate to edit this so soon after posting, but one of my EZ Combs broke just a day after I started using it. So much for durability. I still love it and hope it’s just a dud, but given I only have two of these combs and one broke, I have to downgrade it one star.
UPDATE: The elastic on the second comb is coming undone. I have not had these combs for long and so I will lower the rating to reflect durability. I have also bought Hairzing and it appears to be more durable, stays in the hair better and has tighter elastic.

Good speaker, fits all laptops I tried, kind of cute too!
We have several different brands of laptops here at work: Acer, HP, an old Sony, and an old Gateway, this portable speaker attached to every one of them; (update: it also fits just fine on my Dell at home).
From a female’s perspective, I found this speaker to be cute, as far as speakers go – it just looks nice, period. But besides being cute, it’s also designed well – inside the clip section there is rubber cushioning so it won’t scratch your computer.
The sound is fairly good, but don’t expect Bose-quality. It’s easy to install – just plug in the USB cord – each computer found the hardware immediately whether it was XP, Vista or Windows 7 – I tried on all 3 OS’s.
The USB connection is on the back, along with a 3.5mm jack for an MP3 player (you would have to play this while running through the computer).
If you don’t want to clip it on your PC, it also has rubber feet on the bottom of the clip so you can just sit it beside your computer if you wish to do that instead.
It also comes with a drawstring carry case, in addition to the USB cord.
5 stars for what it is designed to do
I have been using the Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205 for about a month now, and I’m completely satisfied. OK, first of all, this external speaker unit is designed to increase the viewing and listening experience of a single user, not fill an entire room with a high quality audio experience. And, when it comes to filling that role this little unit does a fantastic job.
OK, here’s how you use it. This small stereo speaker unit has a spring-loaded click that allows it to acquire a firm grip on the top of any laptop computer. You then plug the USB cord into one of the computer’s USB ports, push the power button on the speaker unit, and it’s ready to go! There is also a volume adjustment on the top of the speaker. If you are watching something on your computer or you are listening to music while you work, then this little unit will serve you well.
The unit is surprisingly small (about 1.5″ tall x 5-6″ long and maybe 3/4″ deep). Even so, it produces a clear, pleasant sound quality for watching DVDs, etc., on your computer.
The really nice thing about this unit is that it is truly small enough to take with you when you travel. I have taken external speakers with me before, and those tend to be bulky, there are lots of cords involved, and can be a bit of a pain! This small unit is not.
So, if you are looking for an external speaker for your laptop, one that you will use solo, or perhaps with one other person or two at the most, then I highly recommend this little system.

This is a great!! Perfect for netbooks!
This is a great speaker. If you use a netbook and like to watch movies on it from Netflix or Hulu, you might find that the speaker on a netbook isn’t always the best of the loudest. That’s the case with my acer netbook. Enter this crazy little speaker. You literally clip it into the top of the netbook & plug it into the USB slot. I didn’t have to install anything, it just worked. Sound quality is great, nice & loud & the volume controls on the speaker control the netbook volume.
Also what’s nice is no batteries required, it draws power from the laptop. I also used this with my macbook pro. Hands down a great product.

This attachment is the best thing they could have invented.
I love this angle brush for dusting ceiling fans and all other kinds of things. You can adjust it to almost any angle. Dyson is the best vacuum on the market and now has some of the best attachments out there.
it works!
just got around to using it yesterday. it really helped with cleaning the ceiling fans. works with any dyson model with the 2 included adapters. i have the dyson slim. it’s not a smooth swivel. it has a few “notches” for pre-set angles so it doesn’t change angle while moving.

This attachment is so much better than the dust brush that comes with the vacuum. You can dust your ceiling, walls and other surfaces by just a few turns of the brush. I also found that I can attach it where the original brush sits on the cleaner. That way you have it with you for instant dusting jobs. I rate it 5 stars, but for some reason I could not get the stars to work. Instead it asked me to create my own review.

Look and Work like OEM – probably are OEM.
Priced much cheaper than Nexgrill and many other so called discount stores. Will probably buy here again, as these only have about a two-three year life. Don’t forget to replace any damaged heat plates, and your grill will work like new. Also, these newer grill types function much better and burners/plates will last much longer with a grill cleaning after every use. After heavy use (big party) give your grill a hardcore cleaning.
